Claire Bloomfield, our Director of Postnatal Education, is an experienced Midwife and mother of two. She trained and qualified as a Midwife in 2006 and since then has gained a vast knowledge and experience around pregnancy and childbirth. Drawing from personal experience, she developed a passion for support and guidance for families following birth and throughout the months and years that follow. Emily Boyd, Director of Antenatal Education, has been a registered midwife for over 10 years. Working directly for the Ipswich NHS Trust as Practice Development Midwife she is able to bring insight into the needs of families in terms of education, as they approach labour and birth. Emily teaches Antenatal classes and trains all our antenatal teachers
Jo Cresdee, CEO, is a Fedant registered Antenatal teacher, baby massage instructor and baby yoga instructor with a background in Montessori teaching. She is also a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, qualified DipHb Hypnobirthing Instructor and Paramana Doula. Jo has worked in this area since 2011 building up a local business providing private antenatal classes and baby classes. Jo teaches antenatal, baby, toddler and fitness classes.
Katie Mackenzie, Director of Operations, has worked with local families since 2011, providing educational courses for parents. Katie teaches workshops for parents and is also a trained Performance and Emotional Coach.
Amanda is a Mum of two and covers the West of Ipswich, teaching the Essential Preparation for Birth Workshop, Munchkins and Explorers classes. Jenny Is a mum of three girls, whose own birth experiences have led her to be passionate about supporting and educating parents, both during pregnancy and in those challenging early months and years. Jenny will be teaching the Essential Preparation for Birth Workshop, Munchkins and Explorers classes in the Manningtree, Lawford and East Bergholt areas.
John Reynolds is the co-creator and teacher of our Strong4Life and Core Club fitness classes. John is a keen long distance runner and has extensively trained in massage, remedial massage, soft tissue techniques, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, postural assessment, nutrition and the management of clients in a professional, clinical environment. John treats clients who have musculoskeletal injury, pain or dysfunction caused by any of life's stresses and from all walks of life.
