We are looking for new teachers to join our team.

Are you a parent who is passionate about supporting families from pregnancy through to preschool? Are you looking for a new career that is flexible and family friendly? Are you looking to be more involved in your local community and really make a difference to people’s lives?

You may have just found your new career!

You will have the opportunity to run your own business – you won’t be an employee – in a specified geographical area that you can really make your own. Full, comprehensive training will be given, and once your training is complete you will be given a licence to teach our popular baby and toddler classes and the potential to teach our NHS Antenatal Classes in your area.

No experience is necessary, though a background in teaching or healthcare would be an advantage.

Suffolk Babies is a respected Community Interest Company, with a unique partnership with the NHS to deliver antenatal education. All our courses are of the highest quality and we are extremely passionate about providing the very best in Suffolk. If you share our passion, why not get in touch?

The initial training package includes training in the Essential Preparation for Birth Workshop, Munchkins and Explorers. You can add on additional training in Moving Onwards, Moving Upwards and Story Adventurers for older babies/toddlers/pre-schoolers.

There is a fee to train with us, which gives you everything you need to get started in your area. We will ask for a small monthly licence fee which covers the support we will give you. (Full details to be given in our brochure). If you wish to work with us you must train in the Essential Preparation for Birth Workshop, Munchkins and Explorers. There will be an additional cost for training in the optional three extra classes. As you will have your own business, you will be able to run as many or as few baby classes as you wish, making this an extremely flexible career that you can fit around your family or other commitments.

There will be a training course in the latter half of 2020. The dates are to be confirmed, as we have a very busy year lined up!

There is a lot to learn and we expect you to be willing to shadow classes, read the reading list and complete coursework as well as attending the training course.

If you are interested in finding out more, please contact us and we will send you a brochure explaining what the training includes and the benefits you will receive alongside your licence to teach our classes.
