We would like to invite everyone to attend an Maternity Voices Partnership meeting WITH their children. The meetings are usually held at the Suffolk Babies Centre, Kesgrave, but once a quarter they will be held at the Day Room, Brook Ward, Ipswich Hospital at 1:30pm to allow those working at the hospital a chance to attend. Please check the dates at the bottom for confirmation of the location.
Call for User Representatives
I would really appreciate it if those of you who have recently had babies or who attend a number of toddler/baby groups in the area would act as “reps” so that we can hear the stories of other families who are perhaps still unable to attend the MVP meetings – please can you drop me a line on firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to become one of these reps and then I can start to build up a bit of a map of the area – so that we can ensure that as much of the Ipswich Hospital Trust area is represented at this group as possible.
What is the MVP?
The Maternity Voices Partnership has been set up to listen to and speak for people who use or have used maternity services at Ipswich Hospital, and we’d really like to hear what you think about your maternity care – before, during and after your baby’s birth.
You can help shape local maternity services for the future. Maternity Voices Partnerships are independent committees which influence and share in local decision making. All women in the local area should be able to participate in an MVP by giving feedback or becoming service user members of an MVP. Partners and families may also wish to give feedback or join a partnership.

Why Should I Get Involved?
If you have anything you want to feed back to the MVP group – any good practice, or anything you feel should be changed, you can come along and share your views.
This is an independent body, chaired by Jo Cresdee.
